The function of fuel pump
As the most fundamental component in the engine fuel supply system, the fuel pump is responsible for extracting fuel from the tank during engine operation and continuously delivering it to the engine through the fuel supply pipeline at a certain pressure. Then, it is pressurized again by the high-pressure oil pump and provides a quantitative amount of fuel to each cylinder according to the working order of the engine.
Working principle of automotive fuel bank
Currently, many cars use vane type electric fuel pumps. The blade type electric fuel pump has the advantages of large pump oil volume, high pump oil pressure, stability, low noise, and long service life.
This form of fuel pump mainly relies on the electric motor to drive the turbine blades to rotate, and relies on the centrifugal force to suck in fuel from the inlet hole and discharge it from the outlet hole.
