1. The function of the oil cooler is to cool the lubricating oil and maintain the oil temperature within the normal working range. On high-power reinforced engines, due to the high heat load, an oil cooler must be installed. When the engine is running, the viscosity of the oil becomes thinner with increasing temperature, which reduces the lubrication capacity.
2. Air cooler, also known as intercooler, is a device used to cool the high-temperature and high-pressure air after engine turbocharging. By cooling through the intercooler, the temperature of the charge air can be reduced, thereby increasing the density of the air, achieving the goals of engine power, reducing fuel consumption, and emissions.

Due to the thermal conductivity of engine oil and its continuous flow and circulation within the engine, the oil cooler plays a cooling role in the engine crankcase, clutch, valve components, etc. Even for water-cooled engines, the only parts that can be cooled with water are the cylinder head and cylinder walls, while other parts still rely on oil coolers for cooling.
4. The oil cooler, as the name suggests, can lower the operating temperature of the oil and bring it closer to the ideal value. Generally, cars with automatic transmissions are equipped more frequently.
