What are the requirements for installing the cylinder head?

The cylinder head plays an important role in internal combustion engines, mainly to seal the upper part of the cylinder and form the combustion chamber. At the same time, it also supports the camshaft and rocker shaft, as well as the intake and exhaust pipes. During the working process, the cylinder head draws air into the cylinder and ignites the combustible mixture through a spark plug, thereby driving the piston to work. The exhaust gas is discharged from the exhaust pipe.

When installing the cylinder head, pay attention to the following points:

1. The disassembly steps should be carried out from top to bottom, from the outside to the inside, first disassembling the components, such as cylinders, pistons, piston pins, connecting rods, etc. When disassembling parts of the same shape and size, markings should be made first to identify their position and direction.

When it is necessary to disassemble the shaft sleeve and pin, the direction of striking should be determined first, and then a copper hammer or rod should be used to indirectly strike to avoid damaging the surface of the parts.

3. When disassembling parts, avoid excessive force. If encountering situations that are difficult to disassemble, the cause should be identified first before proceeding with the operation to prevent damage to the parts.
