Why is the car ignition coil broken?

The car ignition coil is an important component of the ignition system of the car engine, mainly responsible for generating high-voltage current, igniting the mixed gas in the cylinder, and driving the engine to operate normally. However, the ignition coil may also malfunction, causing the engine to malfunction. So, why does the car ignition coil malfunction? The following are several common reasons:

Firstly, excessive generator power output may cause the ignition coil to be overloaded and burn out. Secondly, poor gasoline quality, incorrect cylinder compression ratio, computer board program failure, unstable power supply voltage, abnormal high voltage line resistance, and high primary current of the ignition controller can all lead to ignition coil failure. Finally, poor operation of the ignitor assembly block may also cause ignition coil failure. When the ignition coil malfunctions, the vehicle will exhibit some symptoms, such as the cylinder corresponding to the ignition coil not working, causing idle shaking, weak acceleration, and engine light on. These symptoms can lead to a decrease in car performance and even interfere normal driving.

When the ignition coil of a car malfunctions, it needs to be repaired and replaced in a timely manner. During the maintenance process, it is necessary to identify the cause of the malfunction first and then carry out corresponding repairs. Attention should be paid to safety during maintenance to prevent secondary malfunctions. If the cause of the malfunction is uncertain, it is best to look for a professional technician for maintenance to avoid further losses.
